Nicholas spent his years growing up in New York and Switzerland. Over the years he visited over 30 different countries learning about the different cuisines and stories behind different cultures. The first time he was ever on a TV set was at age two. He is the legacy host of Travels & Traditions which is an internationally distributed series on PBS that the culture and cuisine is various locations around the world.
